Dog Blog

Meet Bonny. Bonny likes belly rubs, toys that aren't hers and food meant for humans. Bonny doesn't like thunderstorms, dry food or anything that will divide your full attention from her (laptops, books, other animals are a no-go).

Like all dogs to their owners, Bonny is a loving, caring albeit hairy friend that somehow knows when I need a little cheering up or a bit of company. And since she's so lovely, I thought she deserved a little attention on this here lil' blog. It was a sunny Sunday afternoon so mother and I decided to take Bonny for a walk to the seafront (perks of living by the seaside)! Unfortunately monsoon season caught up with us and we were blown halfway across the beach by the wind and when it started raining we trotted swiftly home.

At one point I opened my mouth to say something and the air was knocked out of my throat by a really ferocious gust of wind. Seaside windstorms go hard or go home, evidently.
I ended up nicking my mum's gloves and letting her throw around a soggy tennis ball while I took a few snaps. I've decided to make a lot more of an effort to take my camera out with me when I leave the house, because you never know when a camera opportunity will arise and my little Nokia isn't exactly photographically charming.

So, expect to see here lots more photos, maybe even more of Bonny!

  1. I am totally thinking the same - i need to bring cameras out with me more often, even contemplating buying a good, smaller camera rather than my DSLR.

    1. It'd be much less hassle taking a compact, decent camera around rather than having to carry around a chunky DSLR, taking pictures more often would be easy!

  3. Aw! What a cutie, very photogenic little lady! Is bonnie a bull dog- once upon a time? (I know nothing about breeds so I could be very wrong) She is beautiful. I am puppy broody at the moment. I wanna be an adult and have puppies- no kids, just puppies!

    1. She's actually a staffie, I think they're really closely related to bull dogs so you're not far off! I'm definitely going to have lots of puppies when I'm in control!
