'Young Adult', Excuse Me?

Lots of things relating to adulthood have entered my radar recently that I've decided not to acknowledge, but it's become too late to ignore the fact that the future is tumbling towards me like one of those massive boulders that roll down hills in action movies and Mario Kart Double Dash.

Finding blogs written by Uni Students at first made me excited about the next couple of years, but soon after I became horrified. What if I don't get into the Uni I want so badly? What if I don't get into Uni at all?
For once in my life I bucked up my ideas and instead of sitting down worrying, I got up off my bum and went to see the Academic Support at my college, to ensure that I'm going to try my hardest to get into Uni and not just get by. Go me!

In a more positive light, my mum's been discussing saving up to get me driving lessons for July, when I turn 17. Say whaaat? I can barely ride a bike but I can already tell I'm going to be an excellent driver (hopefully I won't kill anyone)!

I'm also on the job hunting game again. In a day's work I've filled out three job applications, and made a list of six other places to drop my cv's into. If that doesn't get me at least a little interest then I don't know what will!

The past week has been spent shying away from responsibilities (I was genuinely ill on Monday and Tuesday). But since then I've decided to actually go for the New Years Resolutions I've set myself, and try and be a better young adult than previously. Eesh, young adult, I wish that term didn't exist!

I'll be back and more interesting than ever before, ladies
